More about me and my style:
My name is Katherine and I’m a Chicago transplant that has been calling Charleston home for 9 years (and counting). I live here with my husband Michael and our sweet pup, Lady.

If you check out the Instagram page you can see that I like to keep things as natural as possible, and that extends to landscapes and portraits. Yes, of course I edit, color correct, and enhance, but at the end of the day I want CHS and your beauty to look as it should- like itself- unique + imperfect.

The best photos are moments that seem to be captured candidly- someone there to grab a moment + archive it just in time. In order to achieve that feel I’ll do what I can to make you as comfortable as possible. I’m more than happy to provide active feedback on poses, throw out suggestions, and fix a stray hair for you. Let me worry about the most flattering angles and edits- you just be you.

What to Expect:

I want you to have the best time at our session and in Charleston. Once we book I’d be happy to send recommendations of all my favorite spots whether we shoot there or not. I want these photos to be a memory of a wonderful day/weekend or special moment in your life.

We’ll get to talking and figuring out all the needed details- am I meeting you and your friends at the beach? Am I lingering behind to shoot a surprise proposal? Click on the Contact page, fill out the form, and we’ll get the ball rolling.

I’m here to provide…  

  • Location consulting and recommendations.

  • Editing of every image you receive.

  • High-resolution digital images taken on a Nikon D600 for your unrestricted usage delivered within 3 weeks of capture date.

  • A sneak peek of a select few images within 48 hours.

  • An online gallery to share images with your friends and family.

  • A $100 discount on your next session if you’d ever like to capture more memories.

  • Tips on where to eat, drink, sleep, shop & enjoy CHS.

The Fine Print:

  • A 50% retainer is due at booking to secure your date - that retainer is nonrefundable as it covers the reservation of the date, preparation of the session, location scouting, and my time at the session. That retainer does go towards the total cost.

  • If a session is canceled due to weather or travel issues your retainer can transfer to book a new date/time of your choosing (if available).

  • The second 50% is due 24 hours before the scheduled session.

  • I will not supply unedited “raw” photos. 

  • I maintain the right to post content captured on the CHSPhotographer website and social media.

 
 

Image Quantity + Packages:

Package price will range depending on the number of edited images you’d like to receive as well as the time commitment it will take to capture. Once we chat through the quantity, package type, and location I'll put together a cost estimate for you.

Quantity package options: 10 (Mini), 25 (Standard), 35 images (Full).

Ability to purchase additional images (up to 50) upon request for $15 per additional image beyond package quantity.

  • Less images + less money.

    10 edited images. Starts off at $150. Locations may be limited.

  • Couple shots starting price $200. 1 outfit change max.

    Proposals start at $200. Each proposal is unique so let’s talk about what you have in mind.

    Here to help if you need assistance setting up beforehand or local suggestions (flowers, drinks, sweets, decorations etc).

    Will include sneak peeks within 24 hours for proposals.

  • 2 locations start at $250.

    For those who enjoy adventures and want to capture more of Charleston.

    Let’s get the best of both worlds; downtown and the beach would be my suggestion. Nothing beats getting a little of both.

  • Up to 6 individuals. Starting price is $250.

    All of these are customizable and are made to fit you and your family/group. We can discuss exactly what you are hoping to get out of this experience.

    For extended party size the price for 7+ people starts at $300 while 10+ starts at $350.

  • Starts at $100. Professional or just for fun we’ll find the right backdrop for you & have you looking your best- let’s get those photos for LinkedIn, the Gram, or anywhere else the kids put content these days.

  • Somewhere special that hits home for you in Charleston? I’d be happy to capture, edit, and send over high resolution images of any landmark downtown, the Ravenel Bridge, beaches, parks, sunsets etc. - you name it!

    Get these framed, give as gifts, turn into post cards, save for the nostalgia- they’re yours.

    Price depends on location.
